Providing hope and assistance
We spent Christmas 2015 in the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital NICU with Micah. That year, nearly 100 families in the NICU, including ours, received an unexpected gift: a $50 Target gift card from Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. It was a simple gesture, but during such a heavy season, it meant more than words can express.
From the beginning of the Mighty Micah Foundation Inc., we hoped to support NICU families at Christmas in that same spirit of kindness. Beginning in 2024, we partnered with the Lake Charles Memorial Health System Hospital for Women in Lake Charles, Louisiana, providing $100 Wal-Mart gift cards, along with stickers and ornaments, for up to ten families spending the holidays in their NICU between Christmas and New Year’s.
Our hope is that these small gifts offer a moment of relief, comfort, and encouragement to families walking through an incredibly stressful and emotional time.
